Our Lady of CZESTOCHOWA  The history of the church dates back to 1321, when the bishop of Konrad, through the brothers Święca, started the construction of the church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In 1394, the church tower was erected from the funds of Duke Bogusław VIII , and later the sacristy and side chapels were added. The church with the city was often harassed by fires, especially the year 1679, when the fire caused by the lightning consumed the entire interior of the church with the tower. From 1540, the building was used by Protestants. In 1897, wooden balconies, characteristic of Protestant temples, were added in front of the choir and side naves. In 1974 works began to restore the Gothic character of the building - wooden balconies and plasters that obscured original details were removed. In 1962, the call of the Church of Our Lady Assumed to the title of Our Lady of Częstochowa was changed. At that time, the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa was placed in the main altar. Since 1992 the cult of Our Lady of Fatima, the Queen of Peace and Unity, has been developing in the Darłów church, whose figure on June 2, 1993 was crowned by Pope John Paul II during an audience in Rome

Our Lady of CZESTOCHOWA Our Lady of CZESTOCHOWA Our Lady of CZESTOCHOWA  Baroque pulpit from 1700 - a wall mounted by Pomeranian woodcarvers with rich acant decoration, motifs of drapery and campanula. The pulpit consists of a sexagon corps, a rostrum with a crucifix and a canopy. The staircase with staircase decorated with richly decorated balustrade with imagery of biblical scenes and door decorated with four boards with roses and a row of campanuli culminated with the sculpture of the Risen Christ and four saints. On the canopy there is a scene from the Last Judgment. The pulpit in the lower part is bulged, divided by acanthus leaves and horizontally protruding stripes on relief planes with scenes from the life of Christ. At the top of the Annunciation, Prayer in the Garden, Flogging, Crucifixion and Resurrection, and in the lower stage of the Bible: Creation of Eve, Original Sin, Deluge, Sacrifice of Isaac.
