Ken & Kate's Roman Holiday
October 2007

The "Eternal City" is more than we imagined. The pictures, the history lessons, nothing prepares you for coming face to face with a city thousands of years old. At every turn you are faced with an almost seamless integration of history and culture in both time and space.

An opportunity to visit Rome comes along possibly once in a lifetime. So in honor of our 25th anniversary next year, we went off on our own (the kids may never forgive us) and spent an entire week exploring the ancient city of Rome on foot. Below are almost 600'of photos that are only an echo of a city where "every stone has history."
