| PrendergastTyres | First day, after dodging a car in what seemed to be the same lane ... the "shoulder" took a bite out of the sidewall of the front driver side... the left side tire. Stopped to change the tire at a wide spot in the road next to a house. Gentleman came out and offered assistance. First he got a mechanics jack then he proceeded to change the tire to the spare for us. When offered payment for his help he just said no he was doing his " penence." With no cell phone and hotel phones on the fritz we had to wait til Monday to fix the tire... uh Tyre... Hertz said we were on our own... just get it replaced. So just down the road we waited and chatted with Mr. Prendergast Sr. while the tire was changed. | |
