Located in Prague at the Old Town on the Square Křižovnické pravobřežním when entering the Charles Bridge on the royal road . It is a Gothic tower built in conjunction with the bridge Petr Parler . The tower was built only as a fortification , but also represents a type of representation triumphal arch. Charles IV. had determined the route the coronation procession of his followers, which led through a new gothic bridge .
